UPDATE: 2 dead in shooting near intersection of Market St. and Lennon Dr.

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating a deadly shooting near the intersection of Lennon Drive and Market Street.

Officers responded just after 10 p.m. Thursday to a shooting in a parking lot in the 5200 block of Market Street. When they arrived, they found two men dead. The names of the victims have not been released due to family notification.

The suspected shooter is in custody.
