Registration begins for annual New Year’s Day Wrightsville Plunge

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Registration is underway to join Communities In Schools of Cape Fear on January 1st for their annual polar plunge.

Hundreds of supporters have already committed to take the icy dip to raise funds for students served by CIS.

The Wrightsville Plunge offers music, games, contests, and refreshments while allowing the entire family to kick off the New Year in a memorable, exciting way.

Participants may choose to Plunge at 12:00 p.m. or 12:30 p.m., and your choice of t-shirt, beach towel, or trucker hat is included with plunge registration.
