Naked man who reportedly spit on deputy arrested

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Investigators say they charged a man walking naked along Carolina Beach Road this weekend with indecent exposure.

Chase Bowes, 25, was arrested after exposing himself and refusing to cover his private parts just after midnight Saturday.

Reports say he spit on the New Hanover County Sheriff’s deputy responding to the call.

Bowes is in jail under a $10,000 bond.
