Juvenile charged in killing of Columbus Co. woman

WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — Deputies have made an arrest in the death of a Tabor City woman.

Felicia Moore Porter was reported missing last month. Her body was found the next day in a wooded area in Tabor City.

Deputies said an unidentified male juvenile was arrested in connection with the crime. Information about the juvenile will not be released, but officials said District Attorney Jon David is trying to get the suspect tried as an adult in Superior Court. If that happens, the identity of the suspect will be released.
