Red Cross helps out Clear Run tenants

Members of the Red Cross were out helping flood victims this week. Volunteers met with renters who were affected by Monday’s flash floods.

Friday, Red Cross crews were at the Clear Run apartments. Victims were able to ask questions about how to find more help in their disaster recovery. Volunteers are doing their best to point them in the right direction. “We talk with them about how they were affected, what their emergency needs might be and then providing Red Cross assistance,” said Dru Hoge, a Red Cross volunteer.

So far, the Red Cross has spent more than $1,000 assisting flood victims.
