Slide downward continues for Perdue’s approval rating
As the state’s budget woes continue, Governor Bev Perdue’s approval rating continues to slide.
A survey by Raleigh-based Public Policy Polling found just 25 percent of North Carolina voters approve of the job the governor is doing six months into the job. That is down from a high of 44 percent in March.
Meanwhile, 55 percent of voters disapprove of her performance.
The poll blames the sharp drop on Perdue’s lack of a clearer policy agenda.
