Big time fun and learning at Cape Fear Museum

Some campers had the chance to play with a few larger than life toys while learning about science today.

Spec 6 campers from Jacksonville stopped by the Cape Fear Museum to play with some giant folk toys.

Toys include a six-foot tall Jacob’s ladder, some large battling tops, and a couple of dancers.

The interactive exhibit shows how the toys use principals of physics, but the kids were more concerned with just having fun.

The museum offers one hour guided tours of the exhibit, which also looks at the mechanics behind the toys.

Toy time runs through the first week in August.
