WPD investigating after someone steals, crashes car

WILMINGTON, C (WWAY) –Wilmington Police are investigating after someone stole a car, then crashed it Saturday.

Spokeswoman Cathryn Lindsay said a woman was unloading her car when it was stolen near the 600 block of 10th Street. The car was then wrecked and flipped at 6th & Bladen Streets.

Lindsay said the suspect ran from the car and there is no description of the person at this time.
