NY freak show owner wants NC dog with 5 legs

CHARLOTTE — There’s a fight over a five-legged Chihuahua puppy from North Carolina.

The owner of a Coney Island animal show, John Strong, says he had a deal to buy the dog, Lilly, from a Gastonia man.

Multiple media outlets reported that the dog’s owner, Calvin Owensby, sold the pup to a Charlotte woman who wants to have the extra leg amputated next week so the dog can walk normally.

Strong says he’s the rightful owner of the dog. But Allyson Siegel says — quoting — “over my dead body.”

The New York man says his show contains “amazing animals, oddities and freaks.”

Strong is hinting that he may go to court over the whole affair.
