Teacher of the Week: Jessica Levasa

SUPPLY, NC (WWAY) —   Jessica Levasa says her job as a fifth grade teacher is to take her elementary students and get them ready to be independent and on their own in middle school.

“They all have their own personalities and their own quirks,” she says and that is the challenge in getting them prepared.

“I want them to know they are capable of anything,” she adds as she describes how she wants them leave her classroom.

She says there is drama at times and sometimes it is an emotional roller coaster, but they push through!
