He’s in a store and he’s singing: Buddy the Elf spotted at North Carolina mall
PINEVILLE (WWAY) — Shoppers at Pineville’s Carolina Place recently spotted a famous elf frolicking through the mall.
‘Buddy the Elf,” also known as Matthews resident Brent Thomas, filmed his own rendition of the holiday classic “Elf” with his family.
Decked in the trademark green and yellow suit, he nailed some of the movie’s most iconic scenes, from discovering perfume and revolving doors, to confronting the “fake” Santa.
It was not Thomas’ first time filling the role either.
Two other festive videos from recent years can also be found on his TikTok account.
And based on comments like “Wait, is that Will Ferrell?” It’s clear that Thomas makes a convincing elf.
