Forestry Service: ‘Bolivia fire 100% contained’

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — According to Officer Chris Meggs with the NC Forest Service, the woods fire in Bolivia is 100% contained.

Meggs said crews will be on scene all day Monday to manage hot spots, and it’s likely some crew members will return Tuesday.

Saturday, officials said they have charged a man for starting the fire after determining it was caused by burning debris.
