Man wanted in Brunswick Co. robbery

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Deputies with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office are looking for a man accused in an armed robbery.

Deputies said they are looking for Shaquille Vereen, 22. They said last night around 10 p.m. in the 2000-block of Longwood Road, another man was robbed of his wallet and cell phone by Vereen. They said Vereen also hit the victim in the head with a handgun.

Vereen is facing charges including robbery with a dangerous weapon. Anyone with information on Vereen is asked to contact BCSO.
