NEW DETAILS: Couple charged after gun pulled during chicken wing order mix-up

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington couple is facing charges after a gun is pulled on restaurant workers. Clarissa Gagum, 24, and her husband Rasheem Gagum, 24, were arrested Thursday.

Wilmington Police said they were called to Fu-Wangz on Carolina Beach Road at 4:40 p.m. after Clarissa allegedly pulled out a gun.

According to Linda Rawley with the Wilmington Police Department, Clarissa said she placed an order for boneless wings at Fu-Wangz, but restaurant employees said she ordered bone-in wings.

Police said she demanded her money back, argued with the staff, left and returned with a gun. Officers said  she started throwing things and waving the gun around.

Police arrested Clarissa and Rasheem. Officials said Clarissa faces charges of assault by pointing a gun and injury to personal property. Rasheem is charged with resisting arrest.
