Teacher Appreciation Day deals and discounts

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Today is Teacher Appreciation Day, but the celebration doesn’t have to stop when the bell rings and the kids go home. Some businesses around our area are offering discounts and deals for teachers to say thank you for all they do each and every day.

Food Lion is offering 5 percent off your total purchase when you show your school ID at checkout. They also have certificates you can fill out to say thank you to your favorite teacher.

Chipotle has a BOGO special on burritos, bowls, salads, and tacos from 3 p.m. to close. Just show your school ID at the counter.

At Barnes & Noble teachers can get 20% off the publisher’s price for material for classroom use. You can register here.

Banana Republic is offering a 15-percent discount for students and teachers with a valid ID.

From May 2-8, 2016, all moms who come into any O2 Fitness location will receive a free 7-day pass to use when they choose.  They’ll enjoy a complimentary week of workouts with unlimited access to fitness equipment and a variety of group exercise classes including Ballet Barre, Zumba, Yoga and RPM.
