#ThisIsThePlace Roadtrip hits Wrightsville Beach

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — It’s starting to feel like summer. That means it’s time for a trip to the beach!

WWAY’s #ThisIsThePlace Roadtrip sponsored by Fulford Heating & Cooling makes its next stop Friday at Wrightsville Beach. Come join Daniel Seamans, Helen Holt and the gang on the sand at the end of Salisbury Street near Johnnie Mercer’s Pier. That’s where we will broadcast live from 5 until 6:30 p.m., including all of Good Evening Wilmington, the Cape Fear’s only newscast totally devoted to good news stories, at 5:30 p.m.

So far our journeys have taken us to Burgaw, Elizabethtown, Southport and Whiteville. Along the way we’ve met some of the people and seen some of the places that make these towns great. That continues with this stop in Wrightsville Beach.
