Teen arrested after he drives around with dead friend in car

A Leland teenager is charged with obstruction of justice after deputies say he drove around town with a dead body in his car.

Nineteen-year-old Eric Henry is now free on bond. Deputies say his friend, 23-year-old John Ferguson likely overdosed, and was laying in the front seat of Henry’s car while Henry drove around for a couple of hours. He even stopped at a friend’s house.

A witness eventually called 911, and authorities caught up with Henry at his grandfather’s house.
