#ThisIsThePlace Roadtrip heads across causeway to Leland

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Leland used to be a little town across the river from Wilmington. Not any more.

The Gateway to Brunswick County continues to grow, as more and more people are moving in and calling it home. It’s also the next stop on our #ThisIsThePlace Roadtrip!

Join Daniel Seamans, Helen Holt and the WWAY crew at Leland Municipal Park across from Town Hall Friday from 5 to 6 p.m. They’ll be broadcasting live, including all of “Good Evening Wilmington,” the Cape Fear’s only newscast devoted to only positive news stories.

Our visit to Leland will include live interviews and feature stories about the town, including how many residents are finding a lot of fun in a sport that’s growing in popularity.
