Trial underway in 2007 murder of Dywaune Simpson

The trial is underway for a man accused in a 2007 murder.

Rono Dunn is charged with murdering Dywaune Simpson near the old Nesbitt Courts Housing Complex in Wilmington in late October of 2007.

Monday, the second officer to the scene took the stand to talk about where the murder took place.

A Wilmington police officer said a man came out of the shadows, shot and killed Simpson, and disappeared into the woods.

The trial is expected to continue all week.
