Sunset Beach community members collect signatures in opposition of Senate Bill 875

SUNSET BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Some sunset beach community members continue the fight against Senate Bill 875.

It is a bill that would deannex three parts of the town; Palm cove on the east end of the island, the Sunset Beach West development and Sunset Beach Commons apartments on seaside road.

Town officials said community members have collected more 4,200 signatures opposing the bill.
