Man found shot to death at NC motel, no arrests

GREENSBORO — Police are investigating the shooting death of a man at a North Carolina motel, the third shooting victim at the motel since Oct. 20.

Multiple media outlets reported police were called to a room at the LandMark Inn in Greensboro early Tuesday. Officers found the body of 28-year-old Willie James Bolden Jr.

Police have no suspects or motive.

Bolden is the third victim connected with the motel in the past five weeks.

Thirty-four-year-old Jermaine Bennett Tinsley was shot and killed at the motel on Oct. 20.

Forty-three-year-old Byron Robert Renwick was found shot in a pickup truck on the same street as the motel Nov. 3. Police determined he had been shot at the motel and drove a short distance away.

Two men have been charged with first degree murder in the earlier shootings.
