Sewer cave-in affects another Wilmington street

Another Wilmington street will be out of commission for a few days due to sewer problems.

A cave-in forced the closure of 41st Street between Peachtree Avenue and Oleander Drive in Wilmington.

The Cape Fear Public Utility authority said the failure is due to the aging infrastructure of the sewer system. Crews were on the scene Wednesday and will work to re-open the street in the next three days.

Access to the Anderson Square Shopping Center is not blocked.
