Northeast snow stymies ILM travelers again

All the wind around our area today hasn’t affecting any of the commercial flights in and out of Wilmington International Airport, but weather across the country is causing problems here.

All flights to and from New York’s Laguardia Airport and Philadelphia are canceled today. The 7:15 a.m. flight to Philadelphia tomorrow is also canceled, and the one leaving here at 11:40 a.m. is questionable. That’s because the airport in Philadelphia is opening late tomorrow.

No matter where you’re flying, it’s probably a good idea to double check on your flight status before you head to the airport. You can do that online through the airport’s website or the airlines.
