You can now schedule rides through Uber in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – No more waiting to Uber!  That’s because the popular rideshare app will now allow its users a chance to book their trips anywhere from 15 minutes to 30 days in advance. and the good news, the new feature is now available beginning today in Wilmington.

Here’s how it works, customers can modify their scheduled rides before the driver is dispatched  and once a driver is en-route,  you’ll have 5 minutes to cancel without penalty.

Business profile and Uber for business users in the port city will have priority access, along with riders who signed up to be the first to try it out in their city.

But over the next few weeks, The company is rolling out the new service to all riders in Wilmington.

The service started in Seattle in June.
