ONLY ON 3 @ 600p: DSS investigating another assisted living facility

WILMINGTON – We’ve learned exclusively that the New Hanover County Department of Social Services is investigating a second area assisted living facility for a Type A Violation complaint – the most serious violation a facility can receive.

Earlier this year, GlenCare of Wilmington was cited for multiple Type A Violations. Since, the state has told GlenCare’s owners not to allow new residents into the facility and is considering pulling their license.
