Wilmington Police and others want you to ‘Know Your Rights’

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY)- The Wilmington Police Department and other community groups are holding a free presentation on the law and you.

Attendees will learn about search and seizure, human rights, what to do when you encounter law enforcement, use of force, filing a complaint, among other things.

The presentation will be at Greater Morning Star church at 2166 Dexter St.  It starts at 6:00 p.m.

If you can’t make it tonight, another presentation is planned for September 22 at Maides Park Community Group at 1101 Manly Ave.
