Neighbors speak about prostitution bust
Brunswick County deputies busted two establishments for prostitution Thursday afternoon.
They arrested Un-Hui Maddox for soliciting prostitution and Chong Esquillo for maintaining a place of prostitution at Sun Spa.
Barbara Fabry was charged with posession of marijuana and drug paraphenalia at Playmates.
Paula Cooper was charged with soliciting prostitution and Kelly Anne Millinder was charged with posession of heroin and drug paraphernalia at Playmates.
When WWAY pulled up to the Sun Day Spa today, we saw two females with bags get into a truck parked behind the spa and leave.
Neighbor Freddy Stevenson says that’s normal.
Stevenson said, “Most of the time, cars would pull in and they would go around to the back and park in the back.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen a female come in and out of there,” he said. “Everything I saw was male.”
This is the Sun Day Spa’s second prostitution bust.
