New website highlights all there is to do in New Hanover County

Paul Lawler, president of Ctoan, Inc., announced the launch of www.CapeFearPassport.com, a new tourism website focusing on Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach and Kure Beach.

CapeFearPassport.com features comprehensive listings of area restaurants, lodgings and events. Visitors to the site have the option of creating and printing lists of events and venues for the length of their visit. Registered users can save their itineraries for later modification and sharing.

“CapeFearPassport.com provides ‘one-stop-shopping’ for all visitors’ needs,” said Lawler. “It is like an online concierge with local knowledge at your fingertips.”

“It is our goal to provide the most comprehensive and up-to-date list of restaurants, hotels and events in the area. The Cape Fear region provides so many opportunities for discovery for every member of the family, and this site can help you keep track of your options.”

The site provides the name, address and telephone number of every hotel and restaurant, as well as the time, location and price of local events. The basic listing is free, although businesses may choose to upgrade the listing with photos, menus, website links and additional information. Advertising space is also available.

Ctoan, Inc. is based in Wilmington, NC. Company founder Paul Lawler, a CPA, is the former chief financial officer of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). A graduate of North Carolina State University, Lawler serves as the treasurer of WHQR public radio and as a board member of Residents of Old Wilmington. Lawler is also the chair of Wilmington’s Downtown Parking Advisory Committee.
