NHSO: Shoplifter caught red-handed with red meat

Deputies responded to the report of shoplifting at 5309 Carolina Beach Road. Thomas George Hyland, 54, was charged with shoplifting after store employees caught him taking a seasoned boneless prime rib steak. Mr. Hyland was released on citation and trespassed from the business.
