FIRST ON 3: B.J. Wright back in jail

WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — B.J. Wright is back in jail tonight. He’s one of the young men who was involved in the shooting at state Sen. R.C. Soles’s house back in August.

In the last two weeks, Wright has been arrested twice for possession of cocaine and driving with a revoked license. He bonded out of jail both times, and then missed his first appearance in court on Monday. That prompted the judge to put out an order for Wright’s arrest.

Sources tell us officers arrested Wright at his mother’s house in Whiteville. This time, Wright will be under a $5 million bond.
