FIRST ON 3: Topsail High student arrested for sexual assault at soccer game

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — An 18-year-old Topsail High School senior has been charged with two felonies after an investigation into an alleged sexual assault which took place on the campus of the Hampstead school.

Brady Douglas Greathouse, of Hampstead, has been charged with one count each of 2nd Degree Kidnapping and 2nd Degree Sexual Offense. Subsequent to his arrest, Greathouse was held in the Pender County Jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond.

The investigation began when a 14-year-old student reported the incident to the School Resource Officer at the school. The incident allegedly occurred during a sporting event held on the soccer field of the high school after school hours.
