Teen shot at West Bladen HS is back in hospital, and facing charges

The teen shot at West Bladen High School last week is now charged in connection to the shooting.

Bladen Online reports Robert Anthony Davis is among six teens charged with inciting a riot which is a felony.

Two of the six are juveniles. The other three are Aaron Elijah Miller and Jovonta and Dominic Purdie. Jovonta’s charged with attempted murder. Dominic’s charged with accessory to murder after the fact.

We’ve called the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office for more details to find out what actually happened that afternoon. We’re told the Sheriff is on vacation and can’t talk and neither can anyone else at the department.

We’ve also been trying to contact Davis’s mother, both last week and today at the hospital. She’s repeatedly agreed to talk with us on-camera, but every time we try to meet with her, she disappears. Today we were told she had to go back to Bladen County to help bail out a cousin of the family.
