Brunswick Co. Sheriff’s Dept. makes number of drug busts

On May 26th the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant for violations of the North Carolina Controlled Substance Act at 1743 Heron Point Road in the Bent Tree Community of Ocean Isle Beach. Agents seized approximately 1.6 ounces of high grade marijuana, Heroin and related Drug Paraphernalia from the residence. The marijuana seized from the residence has an estimated street value of over $1,500. Agents arrested Patrick Dillon Pendleton at the residence without incident.

On 5-27-2010 the Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search and seizure warrant for violations of the North Carolina Controlled Substance Act at 7542 Ocean Highway West in Sunset Beach. Agents executed the warrant without incident and seized approximately 1.5 grams of cocaine, 16 grams of marijuana, 2 handguns and 2 shotguns, one of which was sawed off. Agents also seized a small amount of U.S. Currency and arrested James Russell Hill III.

On 5-26-2010 Drug Enforcement Agents investigated community complaints of drug related activity at 1474 Shell Drive in the Shell Point Community. Agents searched the residence and seized over one pound of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, video surveillance equipment and a small amount of U.S. Currency from Richard Eric Mooney.

On 5-26-2010 Drug Enforcement Agents stopped a Chevrolet Tahoe in Shallotte for a traffic violation. Further investigation into the vehicle and its sole occupant, Andreis Ravon Jenrette, revealed a cache of drugs and money. Agents seized approximately 3 grams of cocaine, 28 grams of marijuana, Oxycodone pills and over $1,400.00. Agents arrested Jenrette for the charges listed below.
