Board gives suspended doctor temporary license
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A local doctor is allowed to practice medicine again, but only temporarily. The North Carolina Medical Board granted Robert Francis Perry a temporary medical license.
Perry voluntarily surrendered his license in 2008. The board suspended his in January 2009 after receiving a complaint that perry became too close to a female, married patient.
The Medical Board says he must meet certain guidelines, including having a chaperone in the same room when treating a female patient.
The temporary license ends September 30.
