Career Summit scheduled for June 23
The Lower Cape Fear Human Resources Association, in partnership with SCN Insight, LLC, is sponsoring a Career Summit in Wilmington, N.C., to benefit the American Red Cross- Cape Fear Chapter.
The summit has two missions:
1. Provide career development skills for displaced workers, veterans in transition, first time job seekers, seasoned individuals looking for expertise from HR professionals on job search and presentation skills, and anyone interested in expanding their career horizons. HR tools for lifelong career development will be shared by North Carolina’s HR professionals to assist North Carolina with workforce readiness.
2. Support local disaster relief, prevention, and preparedness efforts of the American Red Cross – Cape Fear Chapter. The Local Disaster Relief Fund enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to victims of disasters in the Cape Fear region and distribute valuable emergency preparedness and prevention information to area residents.

WHEN: Wednesday, June 23 from 9:00 AM to 12:00PM (1st session) / 12:00PM to 3:30PM (2nd session)

WHAT Happens at the Summit: Pre-registered attendees will be scheduled for individualized career coaching sessions with HR professionals from organizations throughout North Carolina.
