She Rocks Foundation raised over $170K at luncheon

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) —  The She Rocks Foundation has announced that over $170,000 was raised at the Fourth Annual She Rocks Luncheon on September 7.

Beth Quinn, Ovarian Cancer Survivor and She Rocks Founder, said, “Raising awareness and funding for Ovarian Cancer specifically is a personal quest for me and all women who are undergoing this battle. Cancer is a hideous disease that touch all family members. Knowing that together we DO make a difference and can hope fully in our lifetime see a cure for ALL CANCERS. We are a giving community who pull together in giving and resources to see the impossible possible. Thank you to everyone who gave so graciously.”

The She Rocks Foundation was established in May of 2014, and brings awareness and attention to ovarian cancer through funding groundbreaking research, and by helping women who are undergoing treatment for cancer. The organization is solely committed to these pursuits and gives every penny that it takes in toward these goals.
