Chinese restaurant deliverer robbed on 15th Street

Offense: Common Law Robbery

Summary: The victim, a delivery person for Chop Stix restaurant, was attempting to deliver food at 710 S. 15th Street when a man came out from behind the house and said he ordered the food. The man asked the victim if he had change for a $100 dollar bill.

The victim said he became uneasy and started walking back toward his car, but the man grabbed the bag and said he wanted change. The victim said he did not want to get hurt, so he let go of the bag, and the robber left.

The victim knocked on the door of the residence before he left and no one was home. Then he went back to the restaurant to call 911. The case is under investigation.
