New site lets you submit home for movie use

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Think your home oughta be in pictures? A new state web page lets you submit your home, business, farm or other property for possible use by film crews. The North Carolina Film Office launched the web portal today.

The Film Office says the new web page will further expand the number and type of locations available statewide. Residents may use the site to submit various types of housing, historical sites, landscapes and other properties for film production use.
