ONLY ON 3: State Bar suspends Brunswick ADA’s license

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — One of District Attorney Rex Gore’s Assistant DA’s is in trouble with state regulators. The state bar suspended Samantha Alsup’s license for one year for withholding evidence in a Columbus County arson case.

Alsup now works in Brunswick County. She can continue to work thanks to a one-year stay the hearing board issued with its decision as long as she responds to all requests for information from the bar and complies with its membership and continuing education requirements.
