Police investigating stabbing after domestic dispute

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police say they are investigating a stabbing in Wilmington after a domestic dispute Monday night.

It happened on Ward Street near the intersection of Sumter Drive. That’s where police say a woman and man got into an argument before the man was stabbed in the chest.

Police say the man was taken to the hospital, but there’s no word on the extent of his injuries.

Wilmington Police are investigating.
