Attorney having trouble tracking down John Edwards

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. (AP) – A North Carolina judge says he is
willing to order John Edwards to testify in a lawsuit about a sex
tape after an attorney complained he couldn’t find the two-time
presidential candidate.

An attorney for former Edwards aide Andrew Young said Wednesday
he has been unable to serve Edwards with a subpoena. Judge Carl Fox
said during a hearing that he was willing to sign papers ordering
Edwards to appear for a deposition if the attorney is not able to
find the former North Carolina senator soon.

A lawyer for Edwards’ mistress, Rielle (ree-EHL’) Hunter, said
they would like time to make arguments before the judge takes that
step.

A spokeswoman for Edwards declined immediate comment.
