McCrory to check Matthew recovery in Bladen, Columbus counties


WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Gov. Pat McCrory will visit southeastern North Carolina today to check on the recovery from Hurricane Matthew.

The governor is scheduled to visit Bladenboro this morning. Then he will head to Fair Bluff in Columbus County in the afternoon.

Bladen and Columbus counties were both hit hard by flooding from Hurricane Matthew.

We will have a wrap-up of the governor’s visits this evening on WWAY NewsChannel 3.
