Two killed in Bladen house fire
BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Two people are dead after a weekend house fire in northern Bladen County, near Garland.
According to the Bladen County Fire Marshal’s Office, fire crews were called to a home on Susie Sand Hill Rd. around 2:50pm on Sunday. Six people lived in the home, but only four were at home at the time of the fire.
Two girls were able to get out of the house safely, but the father and his 9-month-old son died in the blaze.
The home is a total loss and the cause of the fire is undetermined, due to extensive damage to the home.
