Today’s Woman Conference to Explore “Being Resilient: The Dynamics of Adapting to New Challenges”
Wilmington, N.C. — The playing field has changed for women, especially in the workplace. The 3rd Annual Today’s Woman Conference and Expo will help attendees learn how to deal with the new roles, pressures and challenges that accompany change.
The conference, which is being presented by the Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce and AT&T, will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2010, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm at the Coast Line Conference & Events Center (510 Nutt Street in downtown Wilmington). This year’s theme is “Being Resilient: The Dynamics of Adapting to New Challenges.”
A distinguished group of national speakers will provide education, inspiration and motivation. Speakers include: Syble Solomon (Founder, LifeWise); Joyce Cohen (Founder, Unconventional Wisdom); Toni Radcliffe (former Vice President, Prada USA Corp.), Brooklin Green (nationally known comedian); Talula Cartwright (Center for Creative Leadership); Lori Butler (GM, GE – Environment, Health and Safety); Jane Smith Patterson (Executive Director, e-NC Authority); and Linda Pearce (CEO, Elderhaus).
Exhibitors will be on hand as well, displaying their products and services in an interactive exhibit area. The exhibitor areas will close during the conference portion and reopen during breaks and at the reception at the end of the day.
