Pender County lifts mandatory water conservation advisory

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – Pender County Utilities has lifted the Mandatory Water Conservation Restriction that was put in place on October 14 due to the water main break in Riegelwood.

Raw water supply to the Water Treatment Plants of Brunswick County Utilities, CFPUA, and Pender County has returned to normal and all water restrictions have been lifted.

Pender County Utilities says its customers did a great job of conserving water. Their water demand during the break was reduced by approximately 20% over normal.
