Man wanted for ABC store break-in arrested

BRUSNWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office deputies have arrested a man wanted for breaking into an ABC store.

According to their Facebook page, Anthony Paul Potenza is charged with larceny after breaking and entering, injury to real property, and obtaining property under false pretense.

Warrants state Potenza stole a case of Highland Mist Scotch and a safe containing more than $8,400.

He is being held on a $50,000 bond at the Brunswick County Detention Center.

Investigators say additional charges are possible in connection to other breaking and enterings in the area.
