Riverfest set for this weekend

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – After Hurricane Matthew postponed it, Riverfest is finally just days away.

The three day festival kicks off Friday night in downtown Wilmington with a concert on Water Street.

Then, the street fair runs Saturday and Sunday, along with more concerts and a beer garden.

There will also be concession booths and a children’s play area.  There is one change to note, the fireworks will go off Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. instead of 9:00 p.m.
