Leland police search for missing teen

LELAND, NC (WWAY) – A 16-year-old girl from Leland is missing.

Police say Alida Simone Van Rooyen was last seen Monday night at 10:30 at her home in Leland. She is 5’07” tall and weighs 126 pounds.

She has blond hair and blue eyes. She goes by the name Simone.
