Need a lift? ‘Lyft’ is launching in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Another ride sharing service is calling Wilmington home starting today.

Lyft is a ride sharing service that allows you to hail and pay for rides right from an app on your phone. Service begins for Wilmington at noon today.

Request a Lyft for yourself or a Lyft Plus for a group of friends through the app, get matched with a driver, then pay and rate the driver when the ride is over, all on your phone.

Lyft is offering first time customers $5 off their first ride if they use the code ‘WILMINGTON2016’.
