Girls Gone Wild visit a reminder of overexposure

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — It may seem like a fun party, but getting involved may have some severe consequences. We’re talking about overexposure: putting yourself out there on camera in compromising situations that can later come back to haunt you.

Yesterday Girls Gone Wild was in Wilmington shooting for its reality show. The company is known for capturing topless co-eds all across the country.

We talked with several young people to see if they were aware of the consequences that may come when someone takes part in something like that. The majority said they understood it could affect them when it’s time to find a job.

“People, young, partying, it happens,” Jamie Barefoot said. “I don’t think it should affect anything down the road, but it does.”
